H21A

H21A is a phototransistor optical interrupter switch. It pairs a gallium-arsenide infrared LED with a silicon phototransistor in an opaque, 4-pin plastic slotted housing to detect interruptions in the light path; manufactured by Fairchild Semiconductor.
